This time around, the Vertex Certified Implementer Program offered that next step in gaining valuable knowledge as a tax professional.

With countless number of benefits to the certifications, Susan Chouinard and Jeff Vanslette became certified as part of the growing support to internal customers and the quest for external ones. Both Susan and Jeff work with customers to provide continuous updates to Vertex configurations and improve system taxability results.

As a tax professional, tax calculations play a critical role in day-to-day tasks. The certifications functioned as a great way to go over the differences between VAT Tax and US Tax. It entails understanding basic tax principles and learning how to implement and configure the Vertex Tax Engine with the program helping create a path for further development of Vertex-Specific skills.

The certification has helped to enhance the role in R2R for both certified individuals.

The program, completely online and self-paced, covers a wide range of courses including Tax Foundations to Series Functional Implementation. Completers are given permissions to use their logo in their signature as well.

While the certification brings many benefits for both the individual and organization, the customer is provided with new and improved services as well.
